The Umbrella Holder Blue Parrot is made of the popular demand porcelain also known as "fine china". With a height of 46 centimetres, it is long enough to house standard sized umbrellas. This decorative umbrella holder is characterised by the motif of a parrot infested rainforest which features birds perched on tree branches and surrounded by flowers and plants.

Did you know that in the refining process of porcelain, the materials are heated between 1,2000C to 1,4000C in a kiln? Seems extremely high right? Well, that's why porcelain materials are often not permeable by water which is why this umbrella comes in handy for holding wet umbrellas. The porcelain is further vitrified in order to give it a super tough, translucent look just like this decorative beauty.
