The edges are all wavy and undulated which makes it all the more charming. The florette truly lives up to its name. There are deep distress marks on the platter and thus it is best used as a serving tray or for serving dry food items like cheese and breads. When not in use for food items it could form the base for floral or candle displays. The very attractiveness of the piece lies in its uncured natural chunky looks. The diameter is 21 cm while its thickness is 3.5 cm and despite its size, it is lightweight but sturdy. Would make a wonderful means to introduce a farm and country feel on the table. Use it for your outdoors gettogethers as well. The chunky platter is easy to clean and could be given a more thorough cleansing once in a while. Will retain its wonderful looks and with age looks far more matured and smoother.
