Simplicity and elegance are two things most people look for in any piece of furniture. The Chair - Baroque Black is exactly that. Besides those two, this chair looks and feels downright comfortable.
The chair is a mix of different classical elements from centuries past and a bit of contemporary stylishness as well. Because of those, this can be the focal point of the whole room. The wooden legs are painted black. The two ones in front are straight while the two hind legs are slanted outwards to the back. The back rest is tufted with five buttons - like most Victorian style chairs. The inner part of the back, seat and even the arm rests are upholstered in rich black velvet. The top rail of the back is simple - scrolled outwards to the rear of the chair and is still covered in black velvet. The most interesting section of the chair is the outer upholstery which is covered in plush velvet-like material with black and white baroque floral adornments.
