Multiple, varying line patterns form the undulating waves of the Japanese Waves clock. While eye-catching for its visual interest, this clock is also a functional timepiece. The light distressing on the piece keeps it informal.
Intricate patterns with the appearance of having been hand-etched make up each wave in the Japanese Waves Clock from LaVida. This 34-centimetre round clock, is constructed of MDF and finished with a deep blue and white wave pattern. Each wave is drawn with multiple tessellations in varying sizes, styles and repetitions to create an overall, visually intriguing design worthy of a closer look. Large numbers are written in black on the face of the clock, and classic black hands adorn the piece. Although the clock face design is complex with its mesmerising pattern play, the distressed finish of the piece makes it suitable for a relaxed, casual space such as a game room, entertainment room or study.
