In some Native American cultures, a dreamcatcher was to be used as a protective charm for infants while they slept and it was thought to ensnare bad or scary dreams of infants and adults alike. It was usually made from a handmade hoop of woven textiles with feathers and beads often added as embellishments. Though this may not be a traditional dream-catcher, this unique version has a feather and beaded teepee-like structure from which strings of feathers and beads are hanging giving it a highlighted appeal and attractiveness.
Rustic and beautiful, this unique dream catcher decor featuring decorative feathers with beads that hang below is a wonderful addition to any child's room from baby right through to a teenager and makes a perfect accent for your mountain vista-inspired space. Outfitted with a built-in hoop on the top for easy hanging, this rustic looking dream-catcher is lightweight and easy to install in a bedroom above the bed or near a bedside window for its intended purpose.
