Frame - Fente White
This has a very thick wooden frame composed of two casings - a narrow one in the outside and a thicker one before the actual glass and photo. It is painted in a plain white colour.
The French term 'Fente' basically means splits or cracks in wood, among others. The Frame - Fente White practically has that: fissures and scratches in parts of the whitewashed wooden frame showing the dark wood under it. That sort of rough design added more character to an otherwise very plain frame.
Black and white photos would be nice for the Frame - Fente White. Stunning artistic paintings and photos would be a great contrast to it as well.
