¥ The frame's raised border curves sinuously on all sides, with each curvilinear line ending in an acanthus leaf frond.
¥ The four scalloped shells at the corners are fluted and stylized with foliate shapes at the opposing end.
¥ A wonderful painted overlay gives the frame an aged appearance, with brown and white distressed areas showing through the grey finish.
