The idea of liberty glass can loosely be related to the American colonies and the Sons of Liberty. In order to cover the expense of governing the American colonies, the British Parliament placed a tax on glass and lead, among other things, and this glass was made in celebration of their freedom eventual from British rule.
• The clear glass container has the look of a hand blown piece, and at 5 1/2 inches wide and 18 inches in height, our Liberti Cannister can make quite an impression on any table or shelf. • A flat base and a ball shaped pedestal support the tall tube shaped body. The bell shaped tight-fitting lid has a smooth round edge and a flattened bun at the top, with a tapered handle that's easy to hold on to. This jar can be used for flowers, candy, peppermint sticks, incense, potpourri, coins, or just about anything your customers can think of.
