Cartography inspired modern artefacts have indeed created quite a storm in the field of decor and the same could be said for useful and utilitarian objects for the study or work table that will look smart, efficient and much in tune with the flavour of the space and its setting.
Glass magnets can be quite a little colour accent on tables and fridges and almirahs - and have become quite the rage for their sweet little presence in different places, adding a charming twist to the appearance of the space. This set of glass magnets have been inspired by maps of Europe and their bright blue , yellow, green and pink colours are so very reminiscent of the days one has spent poring over atlases and maps trying to differentiate landforms and borers. The fascination for maps seem of course to be the inspiration but what is fascinating is the manner in which the same mundane map seems to get a whole new look when placed under glass, in little snippets getting a pinhole view as if of those tiny fragments of maps –making them come alive with precision. Beautifully crafted, placed on any metallic surface they will create quite a stir with their look.
