This beautiful hen bird is painted in a brownish-black and dotted white around the neck and tail feathers. When observed closely, it would look as though it were made of wood when in actual fact, it is made of resin. The design is complete with the necessary red combs on the head and under the beak. It also has a sharp pointy beak and tail feathers properly spread like how the organic hen would have done it.
There is almost no country where there are no hens. These female birds along with their male counterparts (cocks) are raised domestically mostly for their meat and eggs. They are an excellent source of protein. It is after these tasty birds that the Hen White Dots are modelled. It is made from resin, even though it might otherwise look like wood. When one holds or touch it however, it would become glaring that it isn't made of wood. The main features of the hen are complete (except for the side feathers which are clasped tightly against the body). It has a comb on its head and under a sharp, pointy beak. As with most hens, the comb is painted red. The tail feathers are also clearly marked out and even dotted in white just like the neck. It has a flat, chocolaty-brown painted base that makes it easy to place this hen on any flat surface.
