The art of turning wood is centuries old and is one of the oldest techniques used for the embellishment of furniture and other woodwork. Our simple Banded White Lamp is a wonderful example of the items we carry that continue that hand crafted art in beautiful reproductions.
• The simple wide bell shaped shade is done in white, with a soft matte cocoa coloured band around the top and bottom edges.
• Three turned spools of varying shapes and sizes comprise the body of the base, and stand on a round platform with decorative routing as clean simple ornamentation.
• The white painted finish is very lightly distressed at some of the high points so the lamp has a lovely aged look.
