Our Crackle Curve Lamp is one of those pieces that work with a number of different interiors. It has the traditional qualities of classical design as well as the more contemporary embellishment obtained by modern technology.
• The drum shaped shade has an English box pleated sheer overlay that's trimmed with warm white satin banding at the top and bottom edges.
• The vase shaped base is composed of several units beginning with a petal shaped pedestal with a scalloped appearance at the outer edge, and an upturned cup that supports the main base.
• The large urn is bulbous and fluted. It turns sharply inward to end in a simple tapered opening.
• The outer coating mimics the polychrome techniques used during the 17th and 18th centuries, with a lustrous gleaming grey sheen and a crackle finish that gives it the appearance of centuries of age.
• Mild distressing completes the design.
