Lamps are a great part of home interiors, and our Fleur Hoja Lamp is one of the many offerings we have for you at LaVida. The word "hoja" is the Spanish word for leaf and has its roots in the Latin word for folium. It's also a small town in Skane County, Sweden.
Whatever the origin of this word, it's perfect for our Fleur Hoja lamp with the many foliate forms in its pattern and the Delft blue colour which originated in the Netherlands. • The exquisite vase shaped ceramic base stands on a black circular platform with a simple "routed" edge. • The vase is tapered at the bottom and curves inward then out into a bulbous top that curves again to a flat "lid". • The oyster white base is imprinted twice with foliate forms, first in pale blue that appears faded, and secondly with Delft blue that's rich and deep. • Neat bands of dark blue trim the top and bottom, and a white Imperial style shade is finished with satin banding.
