• A simple modified white bell shaped shade is the perfect complement to the exquisite design of the base.
• The traditionally inspired Chinese ginger jar shape stands on a characteristic platform in matte black with a rounded center and four pedestal foot corners.
• The low domed "lid" leads to a slender neck and a bulging upper base, then to an elongated tapered bottom.
• A magnificent finish is created using several techniques to achieve a crackle finish on an oyster grey background.
• Large crested medallions done in black on each side are the focal points, with urns, scrolls, foliate shapes, and garlands adding to the ornamentation in the chinoiserie style of the early 18th century.
