The darling Ribbon Oiseau Lamp is just what it appears to be - a simple lamp with a bird and ribbon for adornment. This is the type of lamp that works great in many rooms whether it's used in a child's room, a beach house, or a garden sun room.
• The uncomplicated square block base has a somewhat rustic appeal but with top edges that have been beveled, and it's been whitewashed leaving some of the natural wood showing.
• A sweet bird or "oiseau" stands on the base looking out at us through his whitewashed exterior.
• The bird has wire feet that won't bend or lose their shape, and an unfussy pipe stand has been simply painted in white.
• A bell shaped shade in white is finished with white tape at the edges and is ornamented with taupe satin ribbon that's been "shoelaced" through and around, ending in a bow at the front.
