Oil Lamp - Willow Star

For centuries, oil lamps have served only the purpose of bringing light to an otherwise dark home. However, oil lamps have gone a step higher from simply being a functional item to rural yet fascinating display. Such is the case with the Oil Lamp - Willow Star. The oil lamp is of clear glass, topped with a black and shiny tin cap. The bottle is a four-cornered globe glass which deviates from the traditional design, which is suggestive of minimalistic design and innocent contentment. The glass is then enveloped by a braided willow basket woven to form a square. It is of natural colour with a clean white streak at the middle. A purple ribbon and a black star are added to enhance the natural charm and rustic appeal of the item.
