It has a painted base that features drawn figures of beach elements which include a paddle, a lighthouse, a ship's steering wheel, and a life buoy. To make the beach-effect more convincing, the artist also made use of pastel blue colours.
The Beach Art Specialist that designed this tray also decided to use wood - a rather classic choice of material for a tray. Also, the bordering wooden planks are designed to look old and worn. This adds to the classic feel.
