When those scalding hot bowls of curry or those filled to the top bowl of ramen reach out tabletops-they are ready to serve steaming hot food-such temperatures may make your food more appetizing but tends to be disastrous for those tables that are wooden and have been given a fresh coat of polish-ugly singes, water rings and the likes makes them a worry point. Here are trivets on offer from Lavida that helps make meal times easier for your tables to bear.
Made from ceramic, shaped artistically like a fish and adorned with the most attractive of print sin a riots of colours-this gorgeous piece is all of 29 cm long and about 12 cm in width, making it great for large bowls or two small bowls that could be placed side by side. The trivet has been given a cork base to help it give more insulation from heat and stay as free of moisture as possible. The top even if stained will be cleaned with a wipe of cloth. The design and the adorable fish shape makes it a rather attractive option for any table. While the trivet is a mere 1 cm in thickness, it does give ample protection from overheated sizzler plates and the likes and when not in use for food, could be pout to use like any other use -perhaps like the base of a vase.
