The Verona Vase Blue - Small is one of its kind; despite the fact that it is patterned with the urns and vases of ancient Greece. The only difference is that this is very simple and does not have the paintings of people and scenery characteristic of Greek vases.
It is tall but not sleek like other modern vases. The mouth of the vase nearly has the same circumference as its base but it is not so bulky either. It also has rough striations on the neck and body. The only decorative feature that the vase has would be the handles found on the sides of the neck.
It does have a bright porcelain-like sheen to it which is not characteristic of urns from that region of the ancient world but it does make the Verona Vase Blue - Large even more interesting. Because of its cerulean-coloured paint, it would look pretty enough on its own.
